Feeling very blessed

As a Christmas gift to the Tranquility team, Gloria and Wayne sent an email to all of our guest, asking them to write a note to their service provider. Then they created this book filled with all the  sweet messages and gave one to each of us. 

The stories, memories and kind words are all so touching. They remind me of why I am a hairstylist. And why I Love being apart of the Tranquility team.

I feel extremely blessed by all of my guest. It is my honor and privilege to be your stylist. Some of you have been with me for over 10 years. We have shared laughs and tears together. Each of you are very special to me.

My first week shooting in manual.

This week was about the exposure triangle.

 ISO, Aperture, and Shutter Speed.

These are the 4 shots I chose to submit for the Shooting 101 class. Sooc No editing.

The shadow is distracting. But it was really cold outside and I was concentrating on just getting the meter to 0 than on composition.

I am practicing metering to get perfect exposure. This one isn't perfect. 
But I couldn't resist these tiny toes.


Your camera's meter tells you how much light is being let into the camera based on the settings you choose. ( ISO, Aperture, and Shutter speed )

Hopefully our next snow will be more than a dusting. Joseph really

wanted to "ski" down the hill.
